Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

LAP Mentor covers a laparoscopic surgeon’s whole path: it starts with camera coordination and basic suturing and ends at the complete clinical procedure, with scenarios that include real-time complications and injuries.

The tactile feedback and graphics are among the most realistic available, and the simulator accepts a wide range of instruments and different trocar configurations, so the set-up resembles the theatre where the surgery will actually happen.

Proctor Mode lets the tutor intervene during the procedure — trigger an injury, change the anatomy — without stopping the exercise. That is what turns a technical repetition into a test of judgement.
