Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

GI Mentor is the most evidence-backed GI endoscopy simulator on the market: over 60 published studies, including those establishing its predictive value. It is also the only simulator approved for the SAGES FES test, which the American Board of Surgery requires of all general surgery residents in North America.

The library runs past 120 tasks and cases, and climbs in tiers: constructive endoscopy skills first, then credible clinical cases running from basic diagnostics through complex anatomies, emergencies and demanding procedures such as ERCP or submucosal dissection.

The didactic environment includes a 3D anatomical map, a patient pain indicator and a virtual instructor that gives feedback as you go, on both technique and patient safety.
