Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This self-adhesive wound reproduces a venous leg ulcer, a loss of substance in the tissue of the leg caused by chronic venous insufficiency. The granulation phase shown represents the most common ulcer (between 60% and 80% of all ulcers) at the stage when granulation tissue forms. At this stage it is very important to use the right dressing in order to avoid healing disorders (persistence of fibrin). This large wound sticks by itself and is ideal for placing on the leg. For more prolonged use it can be fixed with a special skin adhesive. All the materials used in this product are dermatologically harmless.
