Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This self-adhesive wound represents an arterial leg ulcer, a loss of substance in the tissue of the leg as a consequence of peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD). Because the supply of blood and, with it, of oxygen is insufficient, healing is slowed down and any small injury can turn into a chronic wound. In this moulage the necrosis of the tissue is represented as large black areas. This large wound adheres by itself and sits well on the leg. For prolonged use it can be fixed with a specific skin adhesive. All the materials used in the product are harmless to the skin.
