Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This self-adhesive wound represents an arterial leg ulcer, a loss of substance in the tissue of the calf as a consequence of peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD). Since the supply of blood, and with it of oxygen, is insufficient, healing is hindered and any small injury can turn into a chronic wound. This moulage shows the formation of epithelial tissue, which finally closes the wound after effective causal treatment and careful cleansing.
This large wound is designed to be stuck on the calf and adheres by itself. For prolonged use it can be fixed with a special skin adhesive. All the materials in this product are dermatologically harmless.
Supplied with a storage box.
