Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This self-adhesive wound represents a venous leg ulcer, a loss of substance in the tissue of the leg arising from chronic venous insufficiency. The exudation phase it shows corresponds to the most common ulcer (between 60% and 80% of all ulcers) when untreated. During wound cleansing, fibrin and excess exudate have to be removed. This large wound is perfect for placing on the leg and adheres by itself. For more prolonged use it can be fixed with a special skin adhesive. All the materials in this product are dermatologically harmless.
