Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This moulage shows the sacral area with a pressure ulcer after surgical debridement. The necrotic tissue has been removed and pockets remain in the wound. The wound is available freshly cleaned or with exudate. The moulage can be used to demonstrate vacuum wound therapy. It sticks to simulated patients or to manikins and, in long training sessions, it can be fixed with a special skin adhesive. The anal cleft is represented in order to show the typical difficulties when dressing the wound.
