Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This moulage shows the sacral area with a pressure ulcer after surgical debridement. The necrotic tissue has been removed and wound pockets remain. The wound is available freshly cleaned or with exudate. The moulage is used to demonstrate vacuum wound therapy. It sticks to simulated patients or to manikins and, for long training sessions, it can be fixed with a special skin glue. The anal cleft is represented in order to show the typical difficulties when applying the dressing. The moulage is supplied on a stand from which it can also be removed.
