Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This moulage shows an ileostomy, the second most common type of ostomy. The end ileostomy is normally located on the right side of the body and shows the small intestine sutured above skin level. Thanks to the use of a special plastic compound, all the usual ostomy bags adhere to the moulage. The model is used for measuring with a stoma template, cleaning the skin with water and fitting the base plate and the ostomy bag. The moulage comes on a stand and can also be removed.
