Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This moulage shows a colostomy, the most frequently performed type of stoma. The end colostomy is usually located on the midline of the body or on the left side and shows the colon sutured above skin level. The area around the colon is inflamed. Thanks to a special plastic compound, all the usual stoma bags adhere to the moulage. The model makes it possible to measure with the stoma template, clean the skin with water and fit the base plate and the bag. The moulage comes on a stand and can also be removed.
