Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This moulage shows a colostomy, the most frequently performed type of stoma. The end colostomy is usually located on the midline or on the left side of the body and shows the colon sutured above skin level. The stoma is located in an abdominal fold. Thanks to the use of a special plastic compound, all the usual ostomy bags adhere to the moulage. The model is used for measuring the stoma with the template, cleaning the skin with water and fitting the base plate and the ostomy bag. The moulage comes on a stand and can also be removed.
