Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This self-adhesive wound reproduces an arterial leg ulcer, a loss of substance in the tissue of the leg caused by peripheral arterial occlusive disease. Because the supply of blood and oxygen is insufficient, healing is hindered and any small injury can turn into a chronic wound. In this moulage the necrosis of the tissue is represented as large black areas. This small wound sticks by itself and is ideal for placing on the ankle or on the leg. For more prolonged use it can be fixed with a special skin adhesive. All the materials used in this product are dermatologically harmless.
