Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The container holds a 110 g powder concentrate that, once mixed with distilled water and shaken, produces roughly a quart (just under a litre) of realistic-looking simulated urine.
It is used alongside catheterisation and patient care simulators to practise specimen collection, fluid intake/output charting, and other urine-handling techniques in a training setting, without using any human or animal fluid.
It does not reproduce the chemical properties of real urine and is intended solely for teaching purposes; it must not be used for consumption or clinical testing.
