Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This wearable sleeve reproduces an abrasion wound and can be positioned on different areas of the body or manikin, making it useful for a range of trauma scenarios. It is available in realistic-feel silicone and can be supplied in different skin tones.
It is applied to a simulated patient or a manikin, and the edges can be concealed with clothing or bandaging as needed, or blended in with FX Silicone or FX Gel for better integration with the skin. It also allows a blood tube connected to a pump to be inserted for active bleeding, and bruising can be added with a bruise wheel.
Its backing fabric makes it easy to adjust the sleeve’s fit, and it is cleaned with warm soapy water.
