Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This MEDICFX piece is a high-quality silicone patch that adheres to the chest to simulate a petechial/purpuric rash consistent with meningitis. It is designed to be quick to apply and highly realistic, and can be used on a range of manikin types.
It is self-adhesive, though FX adhesive gel can be used to improve grip. It can be applied and removed without leaving residue and is reusable many times over.
Blood, pus, FX make-up or dirt can be added on top of the piece to adjust the scenario. It is cleaned with warm soapy water, disinfected with isopropyl alcohol, and powder should not be used on the sticky side, as it stops it adhering.
