Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
According to the character bio MEDICFX attaches to this face, Antonio is 64, was born in Brazil and emigrated to New Zealand 13 years ago; he works as an accountant for a firm in Wellington and lives in Brooklyn (Wellington) with his wife and teenage daughter. This kind of backstory is part of MEDICFX’s face range, designed to bring age, gender and ethnic diversity into simulation scenarios.
It is made from soft, durable silicone, hand-painted by special-effects artists, with an attached wig. It fastens with a velcro strap at the back, so it does not need to be stretched over the manikin’s head, and it can also be worn on a standardised patient depending on face shape.
It can be repaired with MEDICFX’s silicone kits if damaged, and the hair can be washed with mild shampoo and warm water.
