Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

ANGIO Mentor reproduces a whole cath lab, not just the manual skill. The trainee navigates with simulated fluoroscopy and ultrasound, watches the haemodynamic monitoring respond, gives medication and works with the same interventional hardware they would use on the patient.

The module library runs from basic endovascular skills through to complex coronary intervention, acute ischaemic stroke, TAVI, electrophysiology and embolisation. Cases can be built from a specific patient’s imaging, which is what makes it possible to plan a difficult procedure before doing it.

It also simulates intra-procedural complications, both common and rare: it is the only place a team can rehearse the one they almost never see. Available as a fixed, human-sized platform or in portable versions.
