Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Angel Libby is a silicone manikin representing a 26-week premature stillborn baby. Its realistic appearance and scale help create credible perinatal loss scenarios in which sensitive communication, respectful handling and family-centred care are practised in a structured way in a safe, controlled environment.

It supports work on communicating fetal death, careful handling of an extremely premature baby, stillbirth care protocols and support for the bereaved family. It shares the platform of the other premature babies in the range: integrated lungs with visible chest rise and an umbilical stump with reservoir.
