Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

High-quality straight silicone umbilical cord, approximately 30 cm long, that can be cut to the required size. It is available in two versions: a more realistic soft cord with two arteries and a smiley-shaped vein, and a beginner model with colour-coded vessels for easy identification.

It is compatible with umbilical trainers and simulation babies with an umbilical stump, and allows repeated practice of cutting, vessel identification and catheterisation.

USE:

Lubricate the vein before practice
Cut the cord to the required length

CARE:

Wash with warm soapy water and disinfect with isopropyl alcohol
Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer
If the silicone becomes shiny, wipe off the residue with isopropyl alcohol
Store in a dry, dust-free place
