Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Ultrasound already travels with the clinician; training does not. Handheld devices are in the emergency department, on the ward and at the bedside, but simulation remains tied to specialist rooms, fixed equipment and phantoms: for a learner to meet a particular condition, the right model has to be set up in the right place.
Aeris breaks that connection. There is no fixed arm and no predetermined path: the probe moves, angles and positions freely, and the simulated pathology appears wherever it is placed — on a person, on a manikin or on almost any surface. The educator decides where it goes, and the same session runs again in another room, another department or another site without replicating a full system everywhere.
It launches first for point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS), where flexible, accessible, pathology-focused training makes the most immediate difference.
What you learn
Patient simulator modality. The competencies this equipment trains, in the language of the training plan.
- Recognising ultrasound pathology in clinical context, not on an isolated phantom.
- Free probe handling: movement, angulation and finding the view.
- Point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS).
- Scanning on a person, a manikin or a surface, according to what the educator sets up.

- Library of 91 pathologies across 11 anatomical regions, combined to generate over 10,000 case variations.
Features and what's included
What the equipment does and what comes in the box, as described by the manufacturer.
