CARACTERÍSTICAS

GENERAL:
  • Includes both cardiac and lung sounds, two points thoracic decompression and two sites for chest drains, monitor blood pressure, spontaneous breathing with full airway management including cricothyrotomy and proper intubation placement, manage cardiac crisis with EKG and cardioversion, chest compressions, IV access, and drug therapy.
  • Its on-board air compressor supports 12 pulse points synchronized with the heart rhythm and edema control of the tongue and larynx.
  • Options include detailed training simulation sets that support a range of training areas, optional limbs for complex trauma, and intraosseous access training.
  • Training cables are available to match your monitor/defibrillator to eliminate the use of costly patient hands-free pads.
  • Dimensions: 142 x 72 x 30 cm
  • Weight: approx. 48kg
BATTERY LEG:
  • The SMART STAT Patient Simulator operates by utilizing the battery system in the left lower leg.
  • The battery system is rechargeable and will power SMART STAT Basic for approximately five hours.
  • Charging the battery system takes about five hours and having an extra battery leg will allow you to work all day without having to plug into an electrical outlet.
ADVANCED AIRWAY MANAGEMENT:
  • Naso and endotracheal intubation
  • Representation of difficult airways scenarios: tongue edema and laryngospasm.
  • Cricothyrotomy
ECG:
  • 4-Lead recognition of 17 rhytms
  • Defibrillation and cardio conversion
  • Variables rates
  • Pacing
AUSCULTATION:
  • Anterior and posterior lung sounds
  • Emergent heart sounds
  • Abdominal sounds in 4 quadrants
BLOOD PRESSURE ARM:
  • Both arms are blood pressure measurement capable
  • B/P settings of systolic and diastolic values with individual settings for the amplitude of the speaker sounds and to obtain an auscultatory gap
  • Korotkoff sound changes
  • Vary the amplitude of the sound
IV, CANNULATION AND INFUSION:
  • Full venous access from dorsal hand to upper arm
  • IM/SubQ injection sites bilaterally in deltoid and on right thigh
  • Infuse, withdraw, titrate drug therapy, sharps control, securing, and IM injections
  • FAST1 IO access in the manubrium
PATIENT CARE:
  • Urinary catheterization  - Foley functional
  • Interchangeable genitalia
  • Lips and fingernails with cyanosis and CO flushing
  • Light reactive eyes that can be set to 3 sizes and/or non-reactive conditions.
  • Able to create tears, nasal mucus, foaming mouth and vomiting sounds.
PULSE POINTS:
  • 12 Location in pairs: carotid, femoral, popliteal, pedal (dorsal arch), radia, brachial (IV armantecubital, BP arm biceps point)
  • Distal pulses drp off under 70 mm Hg systolic
  • Vary according to ECG rhythm
  • Each pulse point can be shut down to emulate vascular difficulties or disease states
BILATERAL CHEST DECOMPRESSION:
  • Right- or left-sided, partial or complete pneumothorax
  • Audible air discharge upon proper catheterization
  • Pericardiocentesis locations
BILATERAL CHEST TUBE INSERTION:
  • Auxiliary fluid bag allows for simulated discharge with insertion
  • Practice insertion and tube care and maintenance
  • Virtual capnography and oximetry

MODULOS ADICIONALES

IO ACCESS LEG (sold separately):
  • Intraosseous access to the proximal tibia is offered with the I/O Leg for STAT Patient Simulator.
  • Use the I/O Leg to enhance training and understanding of procedures associated with B.I.G.™ and EZ-IO™ devices.
  • This I/O leg is not fluid capable and no blood source is accessible through the injection site.
AMPUTATED ARM (sold separately):
  • Amputated Bleeding Arm SMART STAT. SMART STAT has the capability to put in place this amputation moulage so practitioners have the opportunity to treat this trauma with a tourniquet (TQ).
  • When the TQ is applied correctly, the bleeding will cease.
AMPUTATED LEG (sold separately):
  • Substitute the Amputated Bleeding Leg for the right leg of the SMART STAT by simply attaching the blood supply line to the knee of a SMART STAT.
  • The SMART STAT holds 500 cc of blood for use with the Amputated Bleeding Leg.
