Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The MB051 sleeve reproduces an acid or chemical burn on the arm or leg. It is made from platinum silicone with an internal mesh, soft and durable enough for repeated use in practice.
It is fastened with Velcro and a separate Veltex backing fabric, which makes it possible to adjust the size and fit it to different body areas on the simulated patient or manikin. Simulated soot powder can be added over the injury and is easily removed from the silicone and skin.
Each piece is hand-painted by FX artists. The fabric is washed with warm soapy water and the silicone is cleaned or disinfected with isopropyl alcohol.
