Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Long glove in soft skin-like silicone over a stretch mesh glove, hand-painted to reproduce severe burns to the hand and arm. It is available with a partial-thickness burn or a full-thickness, fire charred burn, in three skin tones, and in left or right arm versions.
It is very stretchy and slides on easily, especially with a little talc inside. The edges can be hidden with clothing or bandages, the arm can be covered with cling film and run under cold tap water if the scenario calls for it, and soot powder can be applied.
It is part of the burns patient kit together with the torso, the facial overlay and the fire burns wound sheet.

Features
GENERAL:- Long silicone glove with severe burns, hand-painted
- Soft skin-like silicone over a stretch mesh glove
- Slides on easily and fits most standardised patient and manikin arms
- Right arm
- Size: medium adult arm
- Weight: 0.15 kg
- Platinum-cure silicone and mesh glove
- Light, tan or dark skin tone
- Partial-thickness burn or full-thickness burn, fire charred
- Side: right arm (the left arm is sold as a separate product)
- Apply talc inside the glove to make fitting easier
- Hide the edges with clothing or bandage to suit the scenario
- If desired, cover the arm with cling film or a bandage and run it under cold tap water
- Add soot powder if desired; it can be removed from skin and silicone
- When finished, slide the glove off carefully; if sweat makes this difficult, pour a little soapy water inside
- Wash the glove in warm soapy water and disinfect with isopropyl alcohol
- Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer
- Store clean and dry in a cool, dark place
