Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
A soft-tissue phantom containing six types of foreign body (BBs, glass shards, metal needles, metal shavings, wood slivers and staples) placed at varying depths, including radiolucent objects that do not show up on X-ray. It allows practice of ultrasound localisation and identification prior to removal.
