Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Adult Male Torso (Cardiac/FAST) with a beating heart is a lifelike , anatomically realistic phantom/simulator from the neck to the pelvic area phantom/simulator with all the essential organs present inside. This phantom is compatible with Ultrasound and X-Ray/CT, and it is an ideal tool for applications such as angiography. The organs are made from realistic urethane-based tissue-mimicking materials, and the bones are made from a patented ceramic-reinforced epoxy-based composite material. The skeleton is assembled from individually cast bones with vertebrae that have a realistic three-layered structure and inner porosity. This phantom can be used with iodine-based and Microbubble contrast media.

It offers practitioners a lifelike environment to master the FAST (Focused Assessment with Sonography in Trauma) protocol by identifying its various pathologies. The phantom is also well suited for POCUS (Point-of-Care Ultrasound) training, allowing practitioners to develop and refine their bedside ultrasound skills in a realistic and hands-on setting.

The design of this phantom includes a realistic heart with all major heart vessels and internal heart chambers. The TPS heart pump is included with this phantom, and it enables a realistic heartbeat and motion of the heart walls.

Note: By default, the phantom comes in a translucent amber appearance. The skin feature can be included upon request.
