Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Nerve block simulator for the popliteal and IPACK approach, for learning ultrasound anatomy recognition and needle-eye coordination. Allows safe puncture and injection practice.
Supported blocks: popliteal; IPACK.
Internal anatomy: popliteal artery and vein; common peroneal nerve; tibial nerve; sciatic nerrve; semitendinosus muscle; semimembranosus muscle; biceps femoris muscle; distal femur and condyles.
External landmarks: popliteal fossa; tendon of biceps femoris muscle; tendon of semimembranosus muscle; popliteal crease; popliteal triangle.
Simulator tissue is self-healing and durable, and the vessels are solid: there are no leaks and no filling or replacement is needed. The plastic base protects the internal bone structures.
