Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Nerve block simulator for the adductor canal approach, for learning ultrasound anatomy recognition and needle-eye coordination. Allows safe puncture and injection practice.

Supported blocks: adductor canal.

Internal anatomy: sartorius muscle; vastus medialis muscle; adductor canal; femoral artery; femoral vein; saphenous nerve; relevant fascial sheaths.

External landmarks: mid and distal thigh; knee; quadriceps femoris muscle; sartorius muscle.

Simulator tissue is self-healing and durable, and the vessels are solid: there are no leaks and no filling or replacement is needed. The plastic base protects the internal bone structures.
