Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Nerve block simulator for the axillary brachial plexus approach, for learning ultrasound anatomy recognition and needle-eye coordination. Allows safe puncture and injection practice.

Supported blocks: brachial plexus and musculocutaneous.

Internal anatomy: radial nerve; ulnar nerve; median nerve; musculocutaneous nerves; axillary artery; axillary vein; deltoid muscle; biceps muscle; coracobrachialis muscle.

External landmarks: axillary fossa; pectoralis muscle; trapezius muscle; latissimus biceps brachialis muscle; deltoid muscle.

Simulator tissue is self-healing and durable, and the vessels are solid: there are no leaks and no filling or replacement is needed. The plastic base protects the internal bone structures.
