Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

ROBOTIX EXPRESS is a portable robotic surgery simulator that makes robotic training more accessible: healthcare professionals and trainees build their skills efficiently and affordably, without taking time away from the operating theatre.

Compact and lightweight, it is housed in a case and sets up and stows away in minutes, so any space (break room, classroom or office) becomes a training lab with no need for a dedicated facility. It integrates a 3D stereoscopic display, high-fidelity controllers with accurate kinematics and realistic instrument response, and foot pedals, all within an ergonomic workspace.

The base configuration includes the Robotic Core Skills module, with exercises covering clutching, camera manipulation, wrist articulation, energy application, needle driving and pedal control, relevant to most robotic console systems. Progress towards proficiency is tracked through centralised data access, performance metrics, benchmarks and custom curricula with the MentorLearn management system.
