Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This single-piece model represents one artery and two veins in great detail, and supports understanding the histological difference between artery and vein. One vein is sectioned longitudinally to show the open and closed venous valves; the artery and the other vein are cross-sectioned, so layers such as the tunica media, elastic membrane and tunica adventitia can be easily recognised. Enlarged 20 times life size.
It is mounted on a base.
Size: 20x30x27 cm. Weight: 800 g.
