Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Baby Nina is a full-term silicone birthing manikin designed for birth simulation. Its realistic weight, scale and silicone construction encourage natural learner interaction during the birth and help create credible delivery room environments.

It supports vaginal and caesarean birth scenarios. The umbilical cord attached to the baby provides UAC and UVC access points for practising umbilical catheterisation as part of immediate care. The integrated lungs, with visible chest rise, allow training in airway positioning and bag-valve-mask ventilation, and it also supports nasogastric tube placement.
