This model, enlarged 2000 times, shows the different types of cells that make up blood: red blood cells, white blood cells (lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils) and platelets.

As all cell types are shown together at a large scale, their relative shape and size can be compared at a glance.
