Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This product is the replacement fluid for Venatech intravenous access simulators, in the characteristic red colour of venous blood, and is used to refill the circuit once it runs low after several practice sessions.
It is formulated to behave realistically on aspiration: there is a genuine chance of seeing the simulated blood appear in the needle hub when the puncture is performed correctly, giving the student the same visual confirmation they would get with a real patient.
