Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This sheet contains 4 colostomy stomas: one normal, one stenosed, one prolapsed and one infected. It allows assessment of the stoma and peristomal skin, fitting and changing of appliances and identification of complications to be practised.
The stomas are self-adhesive, placed on the skin of the standardised patient or on the manikin and removed without leaving residue. They are reusable and can be combined with ostomy bags and moulage effects to suit the scenario.
