Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

High-fidelity set bringing together the basic components for obstetric and neonatal simulation: a full-term baby, placenta with umbilical cord, silicone uterus and pregnant abdomen. All components are made of platinum-cure silicone and can be repaired.

Baby Aiden represents a newborn of 38 to 40 weeks with an intubatable airway, visible chest rise, soft chest for two-finger compressions and an umbilical stump with three bloodlines. The uterus holds the baby and the placenta, and the pregnant abdomen, with hook-and-loop sides and Veltex fabric, fits manikins or standardised patients.
