Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The MT110 sleeve reproduces a large laceration with realistic tissue depth. It is made from platinum silicone with an internal mesh, and is fastened with Velcro and a separate Veltex backing fabric, which allows the size to be adjusted and the sleeve to be applied to different body areas on the simulated patient or manikin.
It supports haemorrhage control, wound assessment and cleaning, trauma dressing and bandaging, and other clinical or prehospital emergency scenarios. It is designed for repeatable training sessions.
Each piece is hand-painted by FX artists. It requires hand-washing with warm soapy water and disinfection with isopropyl alcohol.
