Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This wearable sleeve is one of the most versatile wounds in the trauma range: it reproduces an open wound that can be used to practise initial assessment as well as wound packing or suture closure. It is made from realistic-feel silicone, reinforced with mesh to withstand repeated use.

The back has velcro and a separate Veltex fabric backing, allowing the size to be adjusted and the sleeve fitted onto a simulated patient or a manikin. The edges can be concealed with clothing or bandaging, or blended in with FX Silicone or FX Gel for a more integrated look.

It is available in different skin tones and is cleaned with warm soapy water, disinfected with isopropyl alcohol.
