Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Severed male thumb in hand-painted silicone, supplied with an adhesive-backed silicone wound that reproduces the stump on the hand. The visual effect is designed to be seen from one side only.

The wound is adhered to the thumb side of the hand of the standardised patient or manikin with FX Glue Gel, and bruising, blood or dirt can be added and easily removed.

USE:

Adhere the wound to the thumb side of the hand with FX Glue Gel
Place the severed thumb in the scene to suit the scenario
Add bruising, blood or dirt if desired; they are easily removed from the skin and the silicone

CARE:

Wash with warm soapy water and disinfect with isopropyl alcohol
Mattify shiny areas with talc powder
Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer
Store clean and dry in a cool, dark place
