Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Soft silicone wrap-around sleeve with skin texture and internal reinforcing mesh, hand-painted, reproducing multiple diabetic ulcers on the lower leg. It fastens with Velcro onto a separate Veltex backing fabric that allows the size and positioning to be adjusted.
It fits most standardised patients and some manikins. The edges can be hidden with clothing or bandages, and bruising, blood or dirt can be added, which are easily removed from the skin and the silicone.
