Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

STAT is a full-body manikin (approx. 6 ft tall, 46″ chest) that requires active instructor involvement to set up and change the scenario’s physiological characteristics during practice. This version is fitted with the economy airway head, featuring anatomical landmarks, tongue oedema, laryngospasm, cricothyrotomy and bilateral carotid pulses.

It includes an IV arm with a simulated venous circuit, deltoid and thigh intramuscular injection sites, needle decompression sites for tension pneumothorax, chest tube insertion, and defibrillation and cardiac monitoring zones. The higher-wear components are replaceable.

Being lighter and more affordable than the higher-tier versions in the STAT family, it suits EMS, paramedic, nursing and military medical programmes that need a versatile manikin without full electronic high fidelity.
