Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
To develop this realistic reproduction of a human skull, the latest technology was used to digitise a real human skull and adapt it to the criteria of medical teaching. That is, the skull was adjusted to be anatomically ideal: all the anatomical details and structures are present and correspond to the anatomy that is taught. The skull consists of skull base, calvarium and mandible. The teeth correspond to real dentition in position and contacts. The mandible is movably mounted and can be removed. The calvarium is aligned with the skull base by means of metal pins and is held in place with powerful magnets. This means there is no need for awkward hooks, there are no plastic pins that can break and no risk of a gap being left between the calvarium and the skull base. This sets the model apart from competitors’ skulls, with their plastic pins and awkward metal hooks. The model corresponds to an average European adult in size and proportions. Thanks to modern production technologies and the high manufacturing volume, this model can be offered at a very reasonable price.
It includes a skull stand with cervical spine.
