Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This model, made up of 2 parts and enlarged 70 times life size, shows the structure of human skin in three dimensions.

The hair follicles, sebaceous and sweat glands, erector muscles, Pacinian corpuscles, nerves and blood vessels are shown in detail. The different layers of the skin are clearly defined, and a portion of a hair shaft can be removed to examine its internal structure.

It is mounted on a base.
