Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Nerve block simulator for the interscalene/supraclavicular/deep cervical/stellate ganglion approach, for learning ultrasound anatomy recognition and needle-eye coordination. Allows safe puncture and injection practice.
Supported blocks: interscalene; supraclavicular; deep cervical; stellate ganglion.
Internal anatomy: anterior scalene muscle; middle scalene muscle; sternocleidomastoid muscle; carotid artery; internal jugular vein; subclavian artery; clavicle; C2-C7; first rib; brachial plexus; longicolli; stellate ganglion.
External landmarks: sternocleidomastoid muscle; clavicle; lateral neck; chest wall; thyroid notch.
Simulator tissue is self-healing and durable, and the vessels are solid: there are no leaks and no filling or replacement is needed. The plastic base protects the internal bone structures.
