Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Placing the SimScope stethoscope over the correct anatomical locations on the torso plays the programmed sound from a library that includes 20 heart sounds, scenarios and murmurs, 20 breath sounds and conditions, three bowel sounds and one carotid bruit.
The instructor can customise the scenario by choosing among this range of pathological conditions, letting the student practise identifying sounds, relating them to the correct auscultation site, and describing them accurately.
It is supplied with the torso itself, the SimScope stethoscope with its sound library, a software CD with site licence, and a t-shirt.
