The Prestan AED UltraTrainer offers features you will not find in any other universal AED trainer and faithfully reproduces the operation of the AEDs on the market today. This compact, lightweight unit gives the student a realistic training experience, with training pads that detect when they are placed on a manikin. The pads also come pre-connected and the voice prompts are clear and calm. The instructor can personalise their classes by switching the compression metronome and the ‘give ventilations’ voice prompt on or off. The pads are durable and long-lasting.

The AED trainer can work as a Semi-automatic mode (SAED) or an Automatic Mode (AED):
- Semi-Automatic > Student must push flashing Shock Button to deliver shock(default)
- Automatic > Unit will deliver shock when Shock Button is lit
The trainer allows to configure a time space to perform ventialtions. This option can be activated or deactivated with a button.
- Ventilations On > Time is provided in scenarios to give breaths(default)
- Ventilations Off > No time is provided in scenarios to givebreaths
