Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Product No.: PC-PEE031.02
Overview
This model accurately simulates the abdomen and thigh of a 5-year-old child, featuring realistic anatomical structures and clear bony landmarks. It is designed to provide femoral artery pulsation, making it suitable for training in femoral artery and vein puncture techniques.
Anatomy
The model represents the abdomen to thigh area of a 5-year-old child, providing a lifelike appearance and feel.
Soft skin allows for realistic tactile feedback, mimicking the texture and resistance of pediatric anatomy.
Bony landmarks are clearly accessible on the surface for accurate training.
Realism
The model is positioned supine, and squeezing the hand pressure ball under the groin produces simulated femoral artery pulsation, enhancing the training experience.
It supports realistic practice for femoral artery and vein puncture techniques, providing feedback that closely resembles actual clinical procedures.
Cleaning
Clean the model with a damp cloth using warm water and mild soap, avoiding abrasive materials.
Ensure the hand pressure ball is regularly checked for functionality and refilled as needed.
Allow the model to dry completely before storage and keep it away from direct sunlight.
