Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This life size model brings together three vertebrae that allow a visual comparison of the progression of osteoporosis: one healthy vertebra, one vertebra with pathological changes at an early stage and one vertebra with pathological changes at an advanced stage.

Placing the three pieces side by side shows how the bone structure deteriorates as the disease progresses.

The model is mounted on a base with a stand.
