Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The manikin represents a full-term male newborn (50 cm in length, 34 cm head circumference, 3.3 kg in weight) with an appearance and texture that realistically simulate jaundiced skin colouration, with clear body reference marks.

It includes bony landmarks throughout the body and flexible simulated skin that mimics subcutaneous and muscle tissue, with biometric movements similar to a real baby. It is compatible with real transcutaneous jaundice-measuring devices, allowing training in both detection and subsequent clinical management.
