Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

LuSi, our neonatal lung simulator is the world’s first advanced stand-alone baby lung simulator with real-time artificial intelligence. To train clinicians to assess lung function and respond to treatment without operator intervention.

LuSi responds to treatment without operator intervention and can simulate pathologies such as RDS, lung collapse, weak muscle activity, pneumothorax, airway obstruction, etc.

What you learn

Task trainer modality. The competencies this equipment trains, in the language of the training plan.

  • Assessment of the lung function of the neonate
  • Neonatal mechanical ventilation
  • Adjustment of the ventilator parameters
  • Management of nasal CPAP
  • Manual ventilation with bag and mask
  • Recognition of the response of the lung to the treatment
