Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This model allows hands-on training in basic gynaecological examinations. It is the most suitable model for teaching trainee doctors and medical students, not only in gynaecology but also in general medicine.
Features:
– The soft, special material of the external genitalia and of the abdominal cover makes it possible to simulate bimanual examination (internal and external) and rectal examination realistically.
– All the uteri are mobile, which makes it possible to reproduce realistically the examination of conditions such as cervical motion tenderness.
– The internal reproductive organs, such as the uterus and the ovaries, have normal and pathological states, and you can practise the examination of each of those conditions (intramural uterine myoma, subserosal myoma, ovarian cyst, hydrosalpinx, etc.) by changing the uterus. The uterus is changed easily.
– The size of the ovarian cysts and of the hydrosalpinx is adjusted by insufflating air, until the size and the texture of a living body are achieved.
– The model is suitable for hands-on training in vaginoscopy, catheterisation and cytology, such as endometrial sampling.
– The genital unit is easily dismantled for cleaning or replacement.
